“A great thing about Oxford Recovery Center is that we collaborate with so many other services. We have Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, medical staff, we also have Neurofeedback Therapy, as well as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, all under one roof. ABA Therapy intertwines with all of these services, including a specialized lunch program. That big collaborative approach allows the client to get everything they need within one setting. With our new building coming we’re going to be able to offer a lot of cool opportunities for programming with our clients.”
This place is the absolute best for autism. They have given my son a whole new trajectory in life. Truly remarkable. Their staff are experienced professionals who have lots of care and compassion for what families face. This was the 3rd autism program we tried after two failed miserably. This place is probably one of the best in the country.
“We’ll have all kinds of opportunities to target behaviors from being on a playscape, to practicing in a dentist or salon chair, ordering coffee, or going to a dollar store. Everything in this environment will mimic what it looks like in the community. There are curbs, there’s a walkway, we’ll have kids with bicycles and scooters navigating the environment here so that it will make them more successful in the natural environment. The indoor playscape was built to allow them to play with other children and to be more successful when they are playing elsewhere, like a local park or playground. Those are just some of the features that we have that will help to make our children successful.”
