Healthy Aging / Wellness

Aging is typically characterized by the gradual loss of physiological function in the body and mind. This gradual decline can result in higher susceptibilities to diseases, cancers, and other illnesses.

At Oxford Recovery Center, we offer a range of wholistic, preventative therapies and services that target the effects of aging and can help you feel better and stronger for a longer period of time. You don’t have to allow your age to determine how you feel.

Our team of professionals work together using an integrative approach that combines multiple therapies for your unique circumstances, and will continually monitor your progress to encourage maximum results.

Dr. Shai Efrati released a study in which he found that the effects of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) can target aging and can reverse it at the cellular level. The effects of HBOT can be regenerative in the aging process of the body.

Listen to Oxford Recovery Center’s CEO and Founder, Dr. Tami Peterson, discuss Dr. Efrati’s study and Oxford’s approach to aging in this “Where Healing Begins” interview on WJR radio.

Listen to Dr. Efrati discuss Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and its effect on aging and other conditions in his TED talk.
