Therapies and Method for Growth & Recovery from Cerebral Palsy

Therapies Offered for Cerebral Palsy
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) for Cerebral Palsy
A specialized form of medical treatment administered by delivering 100% pure oxygen to the body through increased atmospheric pressure greater than 1.3 ATA in an enclosed hard chamber.
Occupational Therapy
ORC’s specialized form of occupational therapy allows patients one-on-one time with a therapist to re-develop and recover daily skills required for living and working after a stroke.
Physical Therapy
Oxford’s industry-leading model of intensive neuro physical therapy combines conventional and non-conventional techniques to facilitate rehabilitation. Our approach focuses on retraining the body and brain from a neurological standpoint compared to the traditional muscular approach.
Speech Therapy
Speech therapists give techniques and strategies for children and adults to communicate. Speech therapy is the communication building block for lifelong learning.
Neuro Physical Therapy / Suit Therapy
Oxford Recovery Center integrates conventional Physical Therapy and Suit Therapy programs to accelerate the re-development of motor skills that strengthen muscles and teach the brain and body how to sit, stand, and walk after a stroke.
Genetic Testing
Here at Oxford Recovery Center, we look at the individual’s genetic variations that may lead to inflammation and disease. We target key genes vital for processes like detoxification, cellular repair, and proper brain function, and we create a detailed and customized plan for addressing the root causes.
Nutrition Coaching
Nutrition is a cornerstone of healing and recovery. During one-on-one Nutrition Coaching sessions, clients are taught to Eat for Health Building. They learn which foods support health, and which destroy it, and how to choose foods that encourage recovery after a stroke.
QEEG / Neurofeedback for Cerebral Palsy
The Oxford Neurofeedback program evaluates brain activity patterns and teaches self-regulation of brain function through quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG). Also known as “brain mapping,” qEEG analyzes electrical patterns at the surface of the scalp.
